Fabrício Tavares

Fabrício Tavares has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Fabrício is currently working at Synap as a Staff Front-End Engineer since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Synap as a Senior Front-End Engineer from March 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Synap, Fabrício founded célula.in in October 2016 and served as its Founder.

From January 2015 to October 2016, they worked at Vox Populi - Instituto De Pesquisa as a Software Development Manager, leading a team of senior software engineers. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Software Developer from June 2014 to December 2014, where they designed and developed web apps for survey data collection and analysis.

Fabrício also co-founded Vizzual, a data visualization startup, and worked there as a Co-Founder from June 2011 to June 2014. During their time at Vizzual, they won first place in the Investors Panel presentation. Fabrício also undertook consulting projects, creating web apps UIs and dashboards.

In addition, Fabrício worked at Prizz (Product from Vizzual) as a Full-stack Developer from March 2012 to January 2013, where they developed the back-end infrastructure and REST API for a social media analytics web product.

Fabrício started their career as a Statistics Intern at FIEMG from June 2010 to June 2011, where they conducted data analysis and visualization using R, Python, MapInfo, ArcGIS, Excel, and JavaScript.

Fabrício's earliest work experience was as an Administrative Assistant at the City Hall of Belo Horizonte - SMPL from August 2008 to June 2010. Fabrício was responsible for database administration, system creation, and process automation.

Throughout their career, Fabrício Tavares has gained experience in front-end and full-stack development, software management, data analysis, and visualization.

Fabrício Tavares attended the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics.
