Cristina De la Peña

Cristina De la Peña has a diverse background in design, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and communication. Cristina has worked in various positions since 2009. In 2009, they began as an Architectural design intern at M.E.S.H. Arquitectura. In 2013, they were a Co-Founder of Synetiq and an Architectural design and research developement team member at Computational Monkeys. That same year, they became the Director of NextLab Hub @UNAM. In 2017, they were a Board Member at the Instituto Nacional del Emprendedor - M\u00e9xico and the ASEM - Asociaci\u00f3n de Emprendedores de M\u00e9xico. In 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Synapbox. In 2022, they became a Forbes U30 Board Member.

Cristina De la Peña began their educational journey in 2009 when they enrolled in the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico's Facultad de Arquitectura and earned their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) in 2014. In 2012, they attended the Architectural Association School of Architecture's Visiting School in Athens & Istambul and completed a Summer School in London, DLab in 2011. Cristina also attended the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México from 2013 to 2014 to study Enterprise Creation and Growth. Finally, they earned their Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris | Malaquais in 2015.
