Mj Jensen

MJ Jensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They started their career as the Manager of Corporate Planning at Abt Associates, where they led the financial planning and analysis function. They then moved on to become the MIS Director at the same company, managing enterprise-wide data management services and ERP applications.

In 2003, MJ Jensen took on the role of Director, Executive Systems at Abt Associates, where they were responsible for business intelligence architecture. They later became the Director, Financial Management Systems, serving as the chief architect and program manager for Oracle Projects 11i.

After that, MJ Jensen joined Apps Associates as the Practice Manager - Business Intelligence. In this position, they were responsible for client delivery of OBIEE business intelligence projects and led development and training programs.

In 2011, they joined Cabot Corporation as the Global Process Manager for Record to Report & Requisition to Pay. In this role, they led a team of analysts to define and develop global finance, accounting, and purchasing processes. They also led business improvement projects.

Most recently, MJ Jensen joined Synapse Energy Economics as the Vice President of Finance and Operations.

MJ Jensen earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond, which they attended from 1977 to 1981. MJ also obtained certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2008 and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), although the CPA certification has expired.
