Habeeb Shafiee

Habeeb Shafiee, CTFP, has extensive experience in trade finance and banking operations, currently serving as Assistant Vice President at UOB since August 2019, where responsibilities include managing branch banking operations, transaction processing, and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. Prior experience at Bank Saderat Iran spans nearly 18 years in various roles, culminating as Department Manager, focusing on global letter of credit management. Additionally, Habeeb has contributed to academic development as a Trade Finance Course Educator and held financial leadership positions at Aryanpour Novin Language Institute. Currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations and Affairs at Islamic Azad University, Habeeb holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation.
