Sara Sortal

Sara Sortal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sara is currently Vice President of Market Strategy & Implementation at Synapse Health, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Ambulatory Surgery at Advocate Aurora Health from August 2021 to December 2022. From November 2017 to July 2021, Sara was Vice President and General Manager of Core Solutions at AIM Specialty Health. Before that, they worked as a Director of Operations at Surgical Care Affiliates from September 2014 to November 2017. Sara also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management, which they obtained from July 2012 to June 2014. In addition, they have experience as a Summer Associate at DaVita Kidney Care and as a Manager at Alvarez & Marsal. Sara started their career with internships at Winston & Strawn LLP and St. Aubin, Haggerty & Associates in 2007.

Sara Sortal earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University in 2008. Sara then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Operations, Healthcare, and Social Enterprise at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, completing their studies in 2014.
