Renata Hopkins

Renata Hopkins is a seasoned freelance writer with extensive experience in various writing disciplines, including fiction, non-fiction, copywriting, and editing, spanning over a decade. Since 2011, Renata has contributed to notable publications such as The New Zealand School Journal and the Ready to Read literacy series. Currently involved with Synapsys NZ and Lift Education, Renata specializes in writing for educational materials. Previous roles include working as a story editor and scriptwriter for South Pacific Pictures Ltd, where leadership and collaborative problem-solving were key responsibilities. Renata holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and American Studies from the University of Canterbury.
