Eric Chao

Eric Chao has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Eric is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Synaptec Health since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Uber as a Software Engineer from August 2018 to December 2021. Eric also gained experience as a Software Engineer at IBM from July 2017 to August 2018. Eric served as the President of the Washington University Biomedical Engineer's Society from January 2016 to January 2017. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at SBB Research Group from June 2016 to August 2016. Eric also worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2015 to May 2016 and as a Code Developer at Sling Health from May 2015 to August 2015. Their early work experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in the Strader Lab at Washington University in St. Louis from September 2013 to May 2015.

Eric Chao pursued their education at Washington University in St. Louis, where they obtained a dual degree in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from 2013 to 2017. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a focus on Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Computer Science. In January 2018, they obtained a certification in Deep Learning from IBM.
