Leong Seng Ong

Leong Seng Ong is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Deputy Chief Executive at Synapxe since April 2022, Leong previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at the Ministry of Health (Singapore) from October 2020 to September 2022. Leong’s background includes significant roles at IHiS as Head of Delivery and Group Director for Architecture, Integration & Development, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the Enterprise Architecture programme and implementing critical EMR systems. Additional leadership positions include Chief Architect at Ministry of Health Holdings, Director of Software Engineering at Savi Technology Asia Pte Ltd, and various roles at National Healthcare Group and other esteemed organizations. Leong holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
