Ali Kazemi

Ali Kazemi has extensive experience in legal and advisory roles. Ali currently works as an Advisor at Wispr and has held similar positions at Convergent Research and Angel Investor. Previously, Ali served as General Counsel at Synchron, where they provided legal guidance on neural interface technology. Ali also worked as the General Counsel, Head of Security, Compliance, and IT, and Interim Head of HR at Fast, a fintech platform. Prior to that, Ali was a Regulatory Counsel at Google, where they focused on high-risk regulatory matters and internal investigations. Ali has also served as the General Counsel, Head of Trust & Safety, and Public Policy at Squarespace, and as an Associate General Counsel at Tumblr. Ali's earlier experience includes working as a Federal Prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice and as a Federal Law Clerk at the U.S. District Courts.

Ali Kazemi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, cum laude, from Duke University in the years 1993 to 1997. Ali then pursued their legal education at New York University School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from 2000 to 2003.
