Jerel Mueller

Jerel Mueller began their career as an Engineering Intern at Meridian Kiosks in 2007. Jerel then worked as a Research Associate at Duke University from May 2010 to May 2012. From August 2012 to July 2015, Jerel served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech. Jerel then joined the University of Minnesota as a Postdoctoral Fellow from May 2015 to August 2017. Jerel Mueller's work experience at Medtronic began in July 2017 as a Senior Biomedical Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Principal Biomedical Engineer in December 2020. Lastly, in May 2023, Jerel joined Synchron as a Principal Systems Engineer.

From 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Virginia Tech.

Prior to that, between 2008 and 2010, Jerel obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University.

Jerel'sundergraduate education was completed from 2004 to 2008 at North Carolina State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
