Stephanie Cernera is a highly experienced clinical scientist currently serving as a Senior Clinical Scientist at Synchron since April 2024. Previously, Stephanie held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco from September 2021 to March 2024, and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2016 to September 2021, focusing on clinical research. Earlier in Stephanie's academic career, significant research experience includes serving as a Graduate Student and Undergraduate Researcher at the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, involving work in the Laboratory of Implantable Microsystems. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Purdue University and the University of Florida, respectively, both obtained between January 2011 and January 2016.
