Kara Nyberg, PhD

Kara Nyberg, PhD has been involved in the medical writing field since 2004. Kara began their career as a Medical Writer for Clinical Care Options, then moved on to Medscape/WebMD and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). In 2009, they became a Senior Medical Writer for Health and Wellness Partners, and also began working as a Medical Writer for Synchrony Group and PharMecha LLC in 2016. In 2018, they added Medical Writer roles for PharmaHEALTHLabs and International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer to their repertoire. In addition to their medical writing roles, they have been the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Wellspring Digital since 2016 and the Vice President of Scientific Affairs for Global Healthcare Marketing and Communications, LLC since 2011.

Kara Nyberg obtained their PhD in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona in 2003. Kara also earned a BS in Biology from Harvey Mudd College in 1998. In 2002, they attended the Santa Fe Science Writing Workshop.
