Cristina Equi

Cristina Equi, JD, currently serves as AVP Marketing Legal at Synchrony since August 2025. Prior to this role, Cristina was a Managing Principal at Capco, where leadership involved directing a team of compliance experts to assist sponsor banks with marketing program management, compliance, and legal reviews of marketing materials for FinTech partners. Cristina also held various consulting roles at Capco, leading efforts that supported financial institutions in compliance and risk needs. As the editor of "The Big Orange Book," Cristina contributed to compliance resources for banking professionals. Earlier legal experience includes serving as a Labor and Employment Attorney at GrayRobinson, P.A. and Moran Kidd Lyons Johnson Garcia, P.A. Cristina Equi holds a JD from the University of Miami.
