Emmy Alvarez

Emmy Alvarez is currently serving as a Marketing Business Leadership Program (BLP) member for the Amazon Portfolio at Synchrony since July 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Campus Ambassador for The Black Sheep from September 2022 to May 2025, a Marketing BLP Intern at Synchrony from June 2024 to August 2024, and a Marketing Associate Extern at AbbVie in August 2023. Emmy also participated in job shadowing at KPMG US in July and August 2023, attended the Chicago Inclusion Summit and the Consulting UIUC Leadership Conference in April and August 2023, respectively, and was a participant in the Women's Health Science Program at Northwestern University in August 2018. Emmy is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Marketing at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in 2025, following graduation from Lincoln Park High School in 2021.
