Lorelei Chernyshov

Lorelei Chernyshov, CIP, IGP, MSLS, currently serves as the VP and Information Lifecycle Management Leader in Analytics at Synchrony and holds an elected board member position at AIIM International. With a focus on information governance, Lorelei previously held various leadership roles, including VP and AVP of Information Governance at Merrick Bank, and Director of Information Governance at Avalon Health Care Group. Expertise encompasses the development of privacy programs, data retention schedules, digital ethics initiatives, and enterprise risk assessment. Educational background includes a Master’s of Science in Legal Studies with a focus on Cybersecurity and Data Privacy from Albany Law School and a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Journalism from the University of Utah.
