Rene Solis

Rene Solis is an experienced professional in cloud security and operations, currently serving as the VP of Cloud IAM Engineering Leader at Synchrony since July 2019. In parallel, Rene holds a leadership role as Commander of the 301st Expeditionary Terminal Operations Element in the United States Army Reserve since May 2020, with a diverse background in various operations and information technology positions within the military. Prior military service includes significant roles in the Florida National Guard, where Rene demonstrated expertise in logistics and supply management. Additionally, a lengthy tenure at Citrix established a strong foundation in cloud security architecture and operations. Rene's academic background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University.
