Tina Tian

Tina Tian is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in model risk management and capital management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Model Risk Management at Synchrony since October 2017, Tina has previously held the position of Vice President of Model Risk Management at BMO Harris Bank from June 2012 to October 2017. Earlier roles include Vice President of U.S. Capital Management and CCAR at BMO Harris Bank and Senior Manager in Capital, Liquidity, and Funding at Discover Financial Services, where Tina also served as Lead Analyst and Strategist for Consumer Lending and Card Member Services. Tina's career began as an Analytics Consultant at Nielsen Marketing Analytics. Tina holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
