Ferenc Borondics

Ferenc Borondics has extensive experience in the field of physics and research. Ferenc began their career in 1999 as a Researcher at the Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Hungarian Academy of Science, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Saskatchewan from 2011 to 2016. Ferenc has also held positions at various prestigious institutions such as the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the European Commission. At the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, they worked as a PostDoc in both the Chemical Sciences Division and the Advanced Light Source Division. Ferenc also worked as a Fulbright Fellow in the Haddon Research Group at UCR. Most recently, Ferenc has been working as an Expert in Funding Evaluation at the European Commission and as a Beamline Manager and Principal Beamline Scientist at Synchrotron SOLEIL. Overall, Ferenc has demonstrated a strong background in research, academia, and management within the field of physics.

Ferenc Borondics completed their education at Eötvös Loránd University. From 1997 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry from 1997 to 2002. Ferenc further pursued their academic career at Eötvös Loránd University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry, specializing in Inorganic Chemistry, from 2002 to 2007.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ferenc holds a number of certifications. In 2016, they obtained the "Strategic Management and Innovation Specialization" certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Ferenc also completed multiple courses through Coursera, including "Machine Learning" from Stanford University, "Strategy Formulation," "Strategy Implementation," and "Strategic Management." Furthermore, Ferenc obtained the "Circuits and Electronics 6.002x" certification from edX in 2012.
