Bryan Powell

Bryan Powell, P.Eng, is a Senior Machinery Engineer at Syncrude Canada Ltd., where they develop maintenance scopes for various equipment while ensuring reliability and troubleshooting systems in the field. Previously, Bryan worked as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist at Clare Machine Works and held various roles at Nova Scotia Power, including CADD Operator and Mechanical Engineering Intern. Bryan also gained experience as a Field Engineer at Weir Minerals and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Irving Shipbuilding. They earned their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University and hold a mechanical technology diploma from Nova Scotia Community College.
