Joe Flisak

Joe Flisak is an experienced leader in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry with a strong background in small molecule drug substance and CMC. At Syndax Pharmaceuticals, Joe served as Senior Director of Small Molecule Drug Substance/CMC and previously as Director of Small Molecule Drug Substance. Prior experience includes roles as CMC API Manufacturing Lead at Venatorx Pharmaceuticals and Principal at Flisak CMC Scientific Consulting. Joe's career at GSK featured significant roles, including Senior Director and Director of API Chemistry, as well as Head of 2nd Generation API US. Joe holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Rutgers University and has completed post-doctoral studies in Organic Synthesis at Colorado State University.
