Dan Halverson

Dan Halverson has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Dan began their career in 1989 as the Chief Technology Strategist at TBC Net, Inc., where they were responsible for developing and implementing the corporate technology strategy. In 1992, they moved to Computer Bay of DeKalb as the Head Service Technician, where they worked on repairing Apple, Mac, and IBM computers. In 2004, they founded DeKalb Fiber Optic, LLC and created a business plan to construct an initial 3.5 mile fiber optic network for providing enterprise internet access. In 2022, they began working at Syndeo Networks, Inc. as the Director Outside Plant, where they oversee a dedicated group of professionals expanding the Syndeo/DFO Network throughout northwestern Illinois, including FTTx and backbone construction.

Dan Halverson attended Kishwaukee Community College from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Electronics & Pre-Engineering. Dan then attended Northern Illinois University from 1991 to 1994, studying Electrical Engineering.
