Miruna Girtu

Miruna is on a mission to find and actively support the next generation of bold entrepreneurs. Her role provides her a view of both sides of the narrative. On one hand, she sources and reviews investment opportunities, and on the other, works closely with a wide range of investors and ecosystems across Europe. As the European ecosystem keeps growing, there are many opportunities available for both investors and companies, but also a lot of noise. By facilitating the most relevant conversations, Miruna hopes to significantly increase the number of valuable connections established and, ultimately, investments.

She is a mentor for the most promising British scale-ups as part of London Mayor's International Business Programme, for startups at Wayra, a world-leading accelerator programme, and an Entrepreneurship Expert at University of Oxford's Entrepreneurship Centre.

Miruna is also a Forbes contributor, covering Venture Capital and the Startup Ecosystem and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. She is an award-winning writer and part of Forbes 30 under 30. Her studies spanned from Economics at UCL and International Business in Rome to Management at Cambridge Judge Business School.
