Vijay has worked in various managerial and senior roles, including Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Manager. Vijay has experience in handling revenue forecasting, dashboards, profitability reporting, and financial entity mergers. Vijay has also managed MIS reporting, cash management, credit control, and risk analysis. Vijay has worked with companies such as Synechron, Fabtech Projects & Engineers Ltd., NLC Nalco India, Tranter, Honeywell Automation India Limited, and Infosys.

Vijay Kumar has a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus in International Finance & Direct and Indirect Taxation from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from the same university between 2000 and 2003. Vijay completed their schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1990 to 2000, where they pursued a general curriculum based on the CBSE system. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Risk Manager certification from IGRCI - UK in 2018, and completed various online courses from Udemy in 2020 related to business analysis, financial planning analysis, GDPR, and robotic process automation.
