Sandeep Chittimalli

Sandeep Chittimalli has been working in the field of data science since 2012. Sandeep began as a VLSI Design Engineer for a self-employed position, followed by a Data Analyst role at YOUNGMINDS TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. In 2015, they took on a Graduate Research Assistant role at South Dakota State University, where they worked on different satellite data calibrations using Matlab, Python, and other GeoTIFF tools. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Research and Data Analyst at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where they worked on the development of Intercomparison of the latest (Landsat-Sentinel) airborne data and used Postgres SQL, PostGIS, and HPC machines. In 2018, they became a Data Analyst at Capital One, and in 2020 they returned to Synectics for Management Decisions, Inc. as a Data Scientist, where they managed Data Science Desktop environments, developed Visualization Frameworks on Data Science server, and planned to improve existing word Vector algorithms. Sandeep is currently working as a Data Analyst- Sr at Capital One.

Sandeep Chittimalli obtained their SSC from Serenity Model High School in Mathematics, Science. Sandeep then completed their Intermediate from Narayana junior college in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Afterwards, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad. In 2014, they obtained an AMCAT Certified Data Processing Specialist certification from Aspiring Minds. Finally, they completed their Master's degree in Image Processing from South Dakota State University in 2016.
