Jyothsna Machcha has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Jyothsna is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Synergy Marine Group since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked at JSW Steel as the Group Talent Head from November 2016 to December 2019. Jyothsna also has rich experience working at Vodafone, where they held several HR positions including Deputy General Manager - Business HR, Circle Business HR Lead, Cirle Learning & Development Lead, Manager - HR Operations, National Lead - OD & Employee Engagement, and Assistant Manager - Human Resources. Jyothsna started their career as a Senior Talent Consultant at Classic Search in 2005 and worked there until 2006. Before that, they worked as a Business Executive at Infosys from July 2003 to December 2005.

Jyothsna Machcha obtained a Bachelor's degree in Taxation from Maris Stella College from 1998 to 2001. Jyothsna then pursued an MBA in Human Resources from Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Jyothsna Machcha holds a certification as a Certified Thomas Profile Analyst from Thomas International, although the specific details regarding the institution and when the certification was obtained are unknown.
