Laura McHugh serves as an On-Site Clinical Care Specialist at Synergy Orthopedics, LLC since March 2023. Prior to this role, Laura accumulated extensive experience in athletic training, most notably as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Drexel University, where responsibilities included developing over 100 treatment plans for over 500 Division I athletes and co-creating the Emergency Action Plan Protocol. Laura also managed healthcare documentation, coordinated medical insurance processes, and was appointed to the COVID-19 data collection team. Earlier experience includes being a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and an Athletic Trainer at Moss Rehab, where Laura implemented a new athletic training program and managed injury prevention for middle school athletes. Laura holds a Master's Degree in Sport Management from Drexel University and a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from East Carolina University.
