John Dinsdale

John Dinsdale has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1980. John began their career as a Marketing Planning Manager at Plessey Company plc in 1980. In 1985, they moved to British Telecom as a Market Information & Planning Manager. John then joined STC Telecommunications as a Product Manager in 1987. In 1990, they began their role as Group VP, Worldwide Director, Chief Analyst at Gartner. In 2001, they became Senior VP, Research at RHK. In 2005, they were appointed VP & General Manager at In-Stat. In 2009, they took on the role of Executive Director at PriMetrica/TeleGeography and in 2012 they became Chief Analyst & Managing Director at Synergy Research Group, where they were responsible for leading Synergy's research and analysis of cloud infrastructure services, colocation, video infrastructure and wireless, as well as direct engagements with client companies and operations, sales and marketing.

John Dinsdale attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a BA Honors in Business Studies. In 1979, they also completed a Diploma in Market Research from the Market Research Society. In 1980, they earned a Diploma in Production Control from the Institute for Production Control.
