Lou Miranda has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and engineering industry. Lou started their career in 1981 as a Systems Engineer at General Dynamics, where they contributed to the development of the Global Positioning System (GPS) and designed pilot interfaces for GPS modes of operation.

In 1983, Lou joined Grumman Aerospace as a Systems Engineer, where they analyzed and designed data communications systems for US Air Force and Navy Communications Networks. Lou also developed resource allocations for Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) and Surveillance & Control Data Link (SCDL) data link traffic and designed a Network Management System for the SCDL System.

Lou then moved on to work at Harris Corporation in 1989 as a Lead Systems Engineer. In this role, they performed system analysis, design, and requirements definition for Artificial Intelligence-based avionics diagnostic systems. Lou also developed fault detection, isolation, and disaster recovery system architecture for the space station and B-2 avionics. Additionally, Lou managed projects involving facility construction, scheduling, budgets, and administration.

In 1992, Lou joined Automata Engineering Services as a Managing Partner and Principal Engineer. Lou provided systems design, development, and technical support for Aircraft Diagnostic & Maintenance Information Systems. Lou also developed a web-based Repair Tracking System for the US Air Force and marketed the company's services to secure new business.

Lou then joined Synergy Resources Inc. (formerly the Visual Technology Group) in 1997 as the Vice President of Professional Services. Lou held this position until 2012 and was responsible for overseeing the professional services department. During their tenure, Lou made significant contributions to the company's growth and success.

Since 2013, Lou has been working at Synergy Resources as the Professional Services Director and later as the Business Development Director. Their responsibilities include leading the professional services team and developing new business opportunities for the company.

Lou Miranda received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, between the years 1977 and 1981.
