Vice President Research And Development at Synerkine Pharma

Theo Dinklo has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Theo is currently the Vice President of Research and Development at Synerkine Pharma since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Translational Research at the same company from April 2019 to February 2022.

Before joining Synerkine Pharma, Theo worked at Roche for a significant period. From September 2013 to October 2018, they held the position of Principal Scientist, heading a CNS laboratory focusing on early in vivo CNS safety screens and other related responsibilities. As a Senior Scientist at Roche, from November 2009 to September 2013, they contributed to compound prioritization and/or derisking in the field of early in vivo CNS safety screening.

Theo also has experience working at Johnson & Johnson. In May 2009, they were employed as a Scientist for a brief period. Theo then joined Oto Therapeutics as a Scientist from October 2008 to May 2009.

Theo'searliest work experience was as a Scientist at Johnson & Johnson from June 2003 to May 2008. During this time, they developed electrophysiology assays and screening assays for fast ligand-gated ion channels, contributing to drug discovery efforts.

Theo began their career as a PhD Student at the University of Groningen, where they conducted research on the sensory hair cells of the inner ear and the lateral line system in fish. Theo was involved in designing and building custom equipment and conducting experiments on neonatal mice.

Theo Dinklo completed their Master's degree in Biology at Radboud University from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their PhD in Biophysical neuroscience from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 1998 to 2003.
