Giovanni Forlastro

Giovanni Forlastro is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Finwave, leading R&D and university relations in the Securities & Funds Department since July 2022. Parallelly, Giovanni has been an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Università degli Studi di Torino since October 2013, providing assistance in multiple programming courses across several academic years. Giovanni's extensive experience in public speaking spans from 2015, including recent presentations at notable conferences such as CloudConf and GDG DevFest. Giovanni has also served as Community Manager for GDG Cloud Torino, organized events for droidcon Italy, and worked in various roles in companies focused on web architecture and development. Academic qualifications include a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Computer Science, further enhanced by a diploma in Social Media Marketing.
