Ajay Tandon is an experienced professional in strategy, corporate development, and investment management with a strong background in private equity and corporate banking. As of May 2025, Ajay serves as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Syngene International Limited, after holding the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Veeda Lifesciences for a brief period. Prior to that, Ajay was the CEO of Veeda Clinical Research Limited and a Partner - Operations at CX Advisors LLP. Ajay’s career also includes significant roles at The Rohatyn Group and CVCI Private Equity, providing expertise in investment lifecycle and value realization. Ajay’s earlier experience includes leadership positions at Citi in corporate banking across various regions, where competencies in market management, business planning, and client relationship building were developed. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
