Roger Yong Zhang

Roger Yong Zhang is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Head/S. Director of China Communications at Syngenta Group since March 2022, Roger previously held the position of Director of Communications & Public Affairs at Merck Group from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Roger worked as the Corporate Communications Director for Honeywell in China and APAC from 2013 to 2019, and served as Corporate Marketing S. Manager for Greater China at Accenture from 2011 to 2013. Earlier experience includes a role as Team Leader for Corporate & Financial Communications at Edelman and as a Reporter at China Daily. Roger holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Nanjing University and a Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Groningen.
