Shannon Blacker

Shannon Blacker is currently the Employee Engagement Lead at Syngenta Group, where they have been working since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the title of HR Business Partner at Syngenta from December 2007 to October 2022. Before their time at Syngenta, they worked as an HR and Safety Manager at Trane from August 2002 to September 2007. Shannon also has experience as an HR Manager at Merlin Technologies, a high tech company that did not survive the dot-com bust. In addition, they worked as a Recruiter at The Fifth Option Consulting Inc. and Kirkpatrick Personnel Ltd., fulfilling temporary staffing requirements. Shannon holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, a CHRL in Human Resources from HRPA, and a degree in Arts, Sociology from the University of Waterloo.
