David Pearce

David Pearce is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in automated synthesis and purification, currently serving as Principal Scientist I in Automation Chemistry at Syngenta since January 2016. Prior to this role, David worked as a Senior Research Chemist, specializing in automated synthesis. David's academic background includes a 2:1 MChem in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Salford. Previous positions include Research Fellow at the University of Sussex, Medicinal Chemist at Novartis, Scientist at Pfizer, and completing an industrial traineeship at AstraZeneca. David's expertise encompasses library design, synthesis, and purification through automation technologies, along with a strong foundation in synthetic organic chemistry.
