Martin McLaughlin

Martin Mclaughlin is a seasoned professional in process technology and development, currently serving as Senior Team Leader at Syngenta since April 2021, focusing on the production start-up of new products and improving existing production processes. Mclaughlin has held several roles at Syngenta, including Team Leader, where responsibilities included troubleshooting and scalable synthesis route development for crop protection products. Prior to Syngenta, Mclaughlin worked at BASF for nearly nine years in various capacities, including Lab Team Leader in process development and as a Research Scientist, contributing to the discovery and scalable synthesis of new crop protection products. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from Yale University and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Boston College. Mclaughlin also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at ETH Zurich.
