Mathieu Pierson

Mathieu Pierson is an experienced packaging engineer currently serving as Europe Senior Principal Packaging Engineer at Syngenta since August 2018, focusing on packaging sustainability, customer engagement, and innovation. Prior to this role, Mathieu held several positions at Syngenta, including EAME Packaging Engineer, where responsibilities included managing the EAME Bottles & Closures portfolio and collaborating on a novel agro-chemical closure technology. Mathieu's previous experience includes roles as Packaging Development Manager and Junior Packaging Developer at FrieslandCampina, where packaging concepts were developed and cost-saving projects were managed. Mathieu began the professional journey as a packaging intern at companies such as Hanesbrands Inc. and UTC Aerospace Systems, gaining valuable skills in packaging development and project management. Mathieu holds a Master’s Degree in Packaging Science from ESIReims and completed preparatory classes in Industrial Sciences at Lycée Henri Loritz.
