Sophie Vanden Eynde

Sophie Vanden Eynde is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and operations within the agricultural and water management sectors. Currently serving as a Global Regulatory Affairs Manager at Syngenta since December 2011, Sophie focuses on the development of new active ingredients and previously held the position of EAME Regulatory Manager. Prior to Syngenta, Sophie worked as Chief Operating Officer and Registration Manager at LKC Switzerland Ltd from June 2001 to October 2011, and as a Regulatory Specialist at RCC Ltd (now Envigo) from September 1999 to April 2001. Early career experience includes serving as an Engineer at North of Scotland Water Authority, where responsibilities involved advising planning authorities on water supply and wastewater management. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from Université libre de Bruxelles and an MSc in Land Resource Management with a focus on Soil and Water from Cranfield University.
