David Gallagher currently serves as the Transformation Lead for SYNLAB UK & Ireland, a position held since June 2014, where responsibilities include aligning business units with the SYNLAB vision and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. David manages a team of Transformation Managers specializing in project management and Lean methodologies to enhance process efficiency and customer value. Previous roles at SYNLAB include Lean Transformation Manager, Lean Specialist at Pathology First, Clinical Trials & Quality Support Manager at The Christie Pathology Partnership, and Lead Quality Manager at Synlab UK Ltd. David began their career as a Medical Technical Assistant at Synlab Clinical Trials Ltd. after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Sheffield Hallam University. David's educational background also includes A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, Technology, and Business, as well as 11 GCSEs.
