Chenglong Wang

Chenglong Wang is a highly skilled Staff R&D Engineer at Synopsys Inc since October 2022, specializing in computational geometry for Sentaurus TCAD tools. Prior to this, Chenglong held the position of Senior R&D Engineer at Ansys from September 2017 to September 2022, where significant contributions included the development of a novel overset meshing workflow and enhancements to user-interface and meshing algorithms. As a Research Assistant at Iowa State University from September 2013 to August 2017, Chenglong advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods using B-rep CAD models and successfully computed benchmark fluid flow problems. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant and REU mentor, showcasing strong mentorship and teaching abilities. Chenglong's academic background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and MS and BS degrees from Lehigh University and Hohai University, respectively.
