Chunyang Gou

Chunyang Gou is a Staff Software Engineer at Synopsys, currently working on the ARC NPX6 NPU compiler backend. They have extensive experience in software engineering, having previously held positions at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where they improved the performance and scalability of distributed sensor simulation platforms, and TASS International, where they contributed to the development of physics-based simulation software for ADAS. Chunyang's early career includes a research assistant role at Tsinghua University, developing a Synthetic Aperture Radar signal emulation system, and a postdoctoral position at Delft University of Technology, focusing on GPU memory access optimizations. Chunyang holds a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Computer Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft.
