Dan Alexandrescu

Dan Alexandrescu is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Product Owner at Synopsys Inc since July 2022. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions at IROC Technologies, including VP Engineering, CEO, and Board Member, contributing significantly to the firm's growth from September 2000 to July 2022. Dan began a career as an Independent Contractor between 1996 and 1999. Dan holds a PhD in Microelectronics from Grenoble INP - UGA and a Master of Science in Microelectronics from Université Joseph Fourier, complemented by an Engineer's degree in Electronics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
