Hugo Gonçalves

Hugo Gonçalves, PhD, is an Analog Design Manager and University Professor with over 15 years of experience in designing and testing analog circuits within the semiconductor industry. They began their career as a Junior Engineer at the European Space Agency in 2007, later serving as an Engineering Project Manager for notable missions such as Herschel-Plank and Rosetta. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as an R&D Electronics Engineer at INESC-ID, focusing on RF energy harvesting and antenna design. They have held senior roles at Synopsys Inc and served as an Analog Design Engineer at SiliconGate before joining Ipluso - Instituto Politécnico da Lusofonia as a Professor in 2023. Hugo earned a Master's and a PhD in Electrotechnical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
