Nelson Costa

Nelson Costa is a seasoned professional in the field of software engineering, currently serving as the Software Engineering Manager at Synopsys Inc since 2018. They previously held the position of R&D Engineer and Product Owner for Automation at Efacec from 2016 to 2018, where they contributed significantly to the development of SCADA systems for power systems automation. Earlier in their career, Nelson worked as a Computer Trainer in 2014 and 2015, instructing learners in computer operations. They earned a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Automation and Robotics from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, completing their studies in 2009.
