Nikhil Dhingra

Nikhil Dhingra is currently a Manager of Application Engineering at Synopsys, following a role as a Senior Application Engineer at Ansys, where they supported the Lumerical business in India and ASEAN. They previously operated as a consultant at Lanemap Photonics for 1.5 years, focusing on the design of high-speed plasmonic modulators. Nikhil holds a Ph.D. in Electronics from the University of Delhi South Campus, where their research centered on the design and modeling of photonic devices, particularly silicon photonic integrated circuits. Nikhil's academic achievements include fellowships from the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute and the Erasmus Mundus programme, permitting them to conduct research at the University of Ottawa and City, University of London.
