Piyush Verma

Piyush Verma is a Senior Architect in Machine Learning at Synopsys Inc., where they are building AI/ML-driven chip design systems. With a profound passion for semiconductors, Piyush has expertise spanning manufacturing to VLSI design. Previously, they served as a Principal Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where they led projects in physical design optimization and machine learning applications. Piyush earned a PhD in Materials Science from Stanford University, where they developed innovative electrophysiology devices and contributed to smart cell culture platforms. They hold a BTech in Metallurgy and Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
