PV Srinivas is an experienced executive with over 29 years in the semiconductor and electronic design automation industries. Currently serving as Executive Director at Synopsys Inc since November 2017, PV focuses on next-generation signoff and implementation architectures, multi-scenario analysis, and machine learning-driven optimization. Prior roles include Chief Technologist and Senior Engineering Group Director at Mentor Graphics, where product development centered on timing and power analysis, as well as large SoC design optimization. Before that, PV served as Senior Director of Engineering and Chief Architect at Sierra Design Automation, with a focus on variation-aware IC design. Earlier career highlights include leadership positions at Magma Design Automation, where static timing analysis and power integrity were developed, and as R&D Technical Lead at Synopsys, where contributions included the PrimeTime core timing engine for signoff static timing analysis.
