Shaun McMaster

Shaun McMaster is an experienced Application Engineer at Synopsys Inc since January 2025, with a strong background in integrated circuit design and engineering. Shaun has contributed to several prominent companies, including Silicon Labs, where efforts focused on designing a Machine Learning offload engine, and Rockley Photonics Inc., where responsibilities included architecting a dual CPU System on Chip (SoC) with advanced security features for wearable technology. Previous roles span multiple domains, such as working on high-speed interfaces at Western Digital and designing ASIC subsystems at STMicroelectronics and Arrow Electronics. Shaun holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota Mines and a BA in Math/Physics from Chadron State College.
