Peter Blaabjerg

Peter Blaabjerg is an experienced professional in the optical industry, currently serving as the Category Manager for Lenses & Contact Lenses at Synoptik Danmark since September 2022. Previously, Peter held several roles at Essilor Group from November 2017 to October 2022, including Product & Category Manager for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, as well as Product Manager & Optometrist in the Nordics. Peter's career also includes extensive experience at Hoya from August 1999 to October 2017 in roles such as Trade Marketing & Product Manager and IT Manager, alongside positions as an Optometrist. Early experience includes serving as an Optometrist at Brilleland AS and completing an Optometrist student internship at Wolthers Briller ApS. Peter holds a degree in Optometry from FTS - Optikerskolen, completed from 1994 to 1999, and attended Bagsværd Kostskole & Gymnasium.
