Sarath Botlagunta

Sarath Botlagunta has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and data analytics. Sarath started their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions in 2003 as a Programmer Analyst and worked there until 2008. After that, they joined IBM Labs as a System Software Engineer, where they stayed until 2009. Then, Sarath moved to Corelogic and held the position of Technical Lead/Architect from 2009 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Syntasa as a Big Data Architect, where they worked on creating an AI and Data Analytics product for building complex and scalable data and ML pipelines. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Director, Platform Engineering at Syntasa, where they managed the development of a low code/no code platform. Sarath'slatest role at Syntasa is as a VP of Engineering, which they started in May 2021.

Sarath Botlagunta completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Sun Certified Java Developer certification from Sun Microsystems in November 2006. Sarath also obtained a Sun Certified WebComponent Developer certification from Sun Microsystems in April 2007. Furthermore, Sarath became a Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer from Cloudera in December 2014. Sarath'smost recent certification is as a TOGAF 9 Certified Enterprise Architect from The Open Group, which they obtained in January 2015.
