Ryan Kromm started their work experience in 2000 as a Journey Men at Rochester Tool and Mold. After that, they joined Syntec Optics in the same year and worked as a Senior Diamond Turning Technician until 2012. In this role, they scheduled work, operated machines, inspected optics, trained technicians, and developed manufacturing processes. From 2012 to 2018, they served as the Diamond Turning Foreman at Syntec Optics, where they specialized in developing new manufacturing and metrology processes for challenging projects. Ryan also oversaw scheduling, training, and maintenance. In 2018, Ryan became the Diamond Turning Operations Manager at Syntec Optics. Ryan was responsible for setting long-term goals, promoting products, providing strong leadership, and co-chairing leadership meetings. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Engineer - Diamond Turning at Syntec Optics.
Ryan Kromm attended Monroe Community College from 2000 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a degree in Machine Trades and obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS).
